THIS IS A NEW CONCEPT IN ANALYSING THE SOILS IMMEDIATE NUTRIENT STATUS, IN RELATIONSHIP TO HOW THE PLANT SEES THE MINERALS AVAILABLE TO IT FOR IMMEDIATE GROWTH.
THIS GIVES THE GROWER AN INSIGHT TO THE DAILY MINERAL STATUS FOR A GIVEN CROP AT A PARTICULAR TIME OF ITS GROWTH CYCLE.
THE INFORMATION PROVIDED ON THE REPORT IS USER FRIENDLY AND COMES WITH AN OPTIONAL RECOMMENDATION.

SAMPLING REQUIREMENTS

SAMPLES ARE TAKEN AS PER NORMAL SOIL TESTING PROCEDURES
A 15CM DEEP SOIL PLUG IS RECOMMENDED
15-20 SOIL PLUGS PER SAMPLE AREA IS REQUIRED


GENERAL COMMENTS

The Reams testing concept has originated from a unique individual namely Dr Carey Reams, he deserves legendary status. You would think that a person that had come up with the formulation for perfect health would be given worldwide recognition.
A simple example of this is for individuals to do their own saliva and urine pH tests.
The Reams Biological Theory of Ionisation is all based around energy, which is a simple concept for all to grasp.
Here at Environmental Fertilisers we have adopted this approach to growing and are simply impressed with the results being obtained out in the field.
This test in conjunction with a acid based soil test gives the grower a clear picture of the total nutrients in a particular soil and the plant available nutrients in that soil.
This is not an organic approach to growing but a high tech scientific approach where the biological, mineral and physical worlds meet at the highest level.
A simple example of this is Calcium, often it is found that a soil may have 6000-10000kg of Calcium per hectare but the Reams test will identify that 300-800kg is available for a particular crop. When this is calculated into potential crop yields, yield limiting factors are identified.
